Memories sure linger. I will always cherish Aiyura. Those of us who came in from Mendi High School after 1979 were Bob Morokai, Norink Peter Sapsi,Joyce Teneo Kari, late Male Yagoma and myself Timon Wena. The saying still goes "once an Aiyuran, always an Aiyuran. Great place to be, Aiyura..simply the best. 1980-81

Fond memories still linger,Aiyura, best place to be. We left Mendi high after 1979, Bob Morokai, Peter Norink Sapsi,Joyce Teneo Kari, late capt Male Yagoma and Timon Wena (myself) made Aiyura home 1980-81.We came to know the nation there just 4 years after independence. Many became our life long friends and we still cherish their great friendship to this day. Aiyura lives on in our mind, heart, soul and spirit. To Late Captain Yagoma...bro it still saddens us that you left us so early but your moments with us, especially in Aiyura, Will always be something to remember. To the rest 80-81 lot...its greetings from the Mendi lot and happy 43rd independence.
