The Constitution must have some fatal flaw in it to allow this to happen. Surely an election should have been called with a caretaker Prime Minister in control until the situation was resolved.
Or just have the matter referred back to Parliament for a vote on who had the numbers for PM (apparently no one wanted this) and therein lays the problem
