K10.5 billion budget handed down amidst a shouting match

The K10.5 billion 2012 Papua New Guinea national budget is expected to be passed shortly with no opposition, the other side of the house opting to sit in the middle benches and engage in a shouting match with the government.
It is currently being broadcast live on national radio.
Treasurer Don Polye describes it as "balanced, responsible and designed for the people".

The past government was no better so they shouldn't shout like wild villagers. They should form an effective opposition and debate the budget in the proper way. Bounch of idiots, power hungry corrupt politicians.
