Magnitude 6.7 quake hits Papua New Guinea


(Reuters) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 struck Papua New Guinea today, the U.S. Geological Survey said on its website.
The tremor was centred near the highland town of Goroka, 384 km (238 miles) north-northwest of the capital, Port Moresby, at a depth of 106 km.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
