While all attention was focused on Parliament, SP Brewery tonight night opened its K8.6 million warehouse at Gordon in a quite ceremony.

Chairman Joe Tauvasa said SP had embarked on an investment of K91m for both the Lae and Gordon breweries.

"The company's three-year investment plan has resulted in the latest technology to be installed in both breweries," he said.

"The upgrade of the current operations and ex pansion of the brewery capabilities is world-class and will provide us the extra capability to meet market demand and growth.

"This structure is part of that investment."

  1. Business is growing, then? It's good to have that extra storage as the business starts to expand. It can get easier when you start to take on bigger workloads, provided that you keep things up to date on both the new and the old warehouses. Both need to function efficiently, to continue the momentum of a business. Cheers!

  2. You can say cheers to that! The expansion brought about by a new warehouse can be a lot of work. All that extra storage space gives you more opportunities to get work in those areas done more efficiently. Efficiency is important in a company on the move.
